Gibson Autorack Yard
This set was shot at the west end of the Gibson Yard. The East end is where the
engine facility and corporate offices are. Once upon a time, the main IHB yard
was also somewhere between these ends. The IHB was the
first yard to have pneumatic "brakes" incorporated with their classification
hump? These were in the Gibson yard, and are included in the Smithsonian
Institute now.
